Tuesday 25 November – 7:00-9:00pm

Social Entrepreneurs Network @ Social Enterprise Acumen CIC, The Sjøvoll Centre, Front Street, Pity Me, Durham DH1 5BZ

The theme for November is “breaking through.”  Whether it is starting trading, taking on your first employee, or breaking through the 50% barrier where more than half your revenue is earned through trading, the evening will focus on scaling your social enterprise and getting to the next critical stage of your growth.  The speaker for this event will be Paula McCormack, experienced development facilitator and Chief Officer at Meadow Well Connected, a community hub and social enterprise in North Tyneside offering a wide range of services, training, activities, and opportunities to the local community.  The evening will allow plenty of time for networking with fellow social entrepreneurs and others who are passionate about sustainable change in their communities.  Workshops will expand on the “breaking through” theme and allow for learning, discussion, and debate.  We will also be asking members for input on themes and areas of interest for future events.
